SCUBAPRO

MK25T EVO / S620 X-Ti

Titanium from first stage to barrel, for an ultralight system

SCUBAPRO puts its top regulator technology into this high-tech, ultralight system. The MK25T EVO first stage is machined from a solid block of titanium, which SCUBAPRO says will not corrode even in concentrated salt water, for years of trouble-free use. It resists freezing, has superb inhalation sensitivity and delivers air the moment you need it. The new S620 X-Ti second stage takes the best features of SCUBAPRO's S600 into an upgraded design: smaller and lighter, with the same-sized diaphragm, a titanium inlet tube, a large purge button and a new exhaust tee. This is not the MK25 EVO / S620 Ti: it has the titanium MK25T EVO first stage and the S620 X-Ti second stage. Choose DIN or INT (yoke).

Highlights

MK25T EVO: full titanium body, air-balanced piston

The MK25T EVO first stage body is machined from titanium: lightweight and highly corrosion-resistant. Inside, an air-balanced flow-through piston delivers air instantly on demand. It carries SCUBAPRO's patented XTIS (Extended Thermal Insulating System), and SCUBAPRO says it offers excellent resistance to freezing. It has two opposing HP ports and five LP ports.

S620 X-Ti: smaller and lighter, S600-size diaphragm

SCUBAPRO took the best features of its S600 into the S620 X-Ti and made it smaller and lighter, with the same-sized diaphragm in a more compact case. SCUBAPRO says it delivers effortless airflow under all dive conditions. The valve is air-balanced, the barrel is full titanium, and the case and front cover are reinforced technopolymer with a stainless steel frame.

Adjust your breathing, bubbles out of view

An easy-grip inhalation effort knob lets you adjust the breathing yourself, alongside the VIVA (Venturi-Initiated Vacuum Assist) lever. The large purge button improves water circulation, the exhaust tee directs bubbles out of your field of view, and the Compact Hi-Flow mouthpiece sits on an enlarged mouthpiece pipe.

Ultralight, thanks to titanium

SCUBAPRO lists the DIN system at 1.881 lb (about 0.85 kg) and puts the low weight down to the titanium first-stage body and the titanium second-stage barrel. A regulator bag comes in the box.

Clamp-on

The first stage clamps onto the tank valve. SCUBAPRO does not list a weight for this version.

FAQ

How is it different from the MK25 EVO / S620 Ti?

They are two separate SCUBAPRO systems. This one has the MK25T EVO first stage, machined from a solid block of titanium; the MK25 EVO / S620 Ti uses the MK25 EVO in a chrome-plated brass body. The second stage here is the new S620 X-Ti, not the S620 Ti. SCUBAPRO does not compare the two second stages in detail, so if you are choosing between the two systems, ask us on LINE.

DIN or INT: which one should I choose?

It is how the first stage connects to the tank valve, so match the valves you dive with. DIN screws straight into the valve; INT (yoke) clamps onto it. Not sure? Ask us on LINE.

How much does it weigh?

SCUBAPRO lists the DIN system at 1.881 lb (about 0.85 kg). It does not list a weight for the INT version.

Can I use it with nitrox?

Yes. SCUBAPRO rates it for nitrox mixes up to 40%.

Can I use it in cold water?

The MK25T EVO first stage has SCUBAPRO's patented XTIS insulation, and SCUBAPRO says it offers excellent resistance to freezing. Planning to dive very cold water? Ask us on LINE first.
