SCUBAPRO

MK25 EVO / G260

A regulator for harsh conditions, cold water and tech set-ups

SCUBAPRO teams its flagship first stage, the MK25 EVO, with the G260, a second stage engineered to excel in harsh conditions. SCUBAPRO says any recreational or technical diver can take this system on any dive, anywhere in the world, and count on rock-solid performance and reliability. The MK25 EVO gives an ultra-fast breathing response and extra-high airflow in all water temperatures. The G260, which SCUBAPRO calls the most imitated air-balanced second stage of all time, has metal internal parts and a hose that attaches left or right, a good fit for tech configurations. Choose INT or DIN 300.

Highlights

MK25 EVO: an air-balanced piston for instant air on demand

The MK25 EVO first stage uses an air-balanced flow-through piston in a chrome-plated brass body and delivers air instantly on demand. Two opposing HP ports let you mount it facing up or down, five LP ports sit on a swivel turret (four high-flow, one axial super high-flow), and technicians can adjust the intermediate pressure from outside.

G260: SCUBAPRO's largest second-stage case and diaphragm

The G260 has a rugged, reinforced technopolymer design with SCUBAPRO's largest second-stage casing and diaphragm, an air-balanced valve and a high-flow exhaust valve.

Cold-water ready, first stage and second stage

The first stage has SCUBAPRO's patented XTIS (Extended Thermal Insulating System) and anti-freeze protection. In the G260, the inlet tube, orifice, inhalation control knob and hose connector are metal for more resistance to freezing, and the VIVA dive/pre-dive switch helps prevent free flows in cold water or when it is used as an octopus.

Hose left or right, breathing you can adjust

The hose attaches to the second stage from the left or the right, which suits tech diving configurations. An inhalation effort knob lets you set the breathing effort yourself, and the hose is SCUBAPRO's super-flow hose.

Who it is for

Great for
  • Recreational or technical divers who want one system for every trip: SCUBAPRO says it goes on any dive, anywhere in the world
  • Cold-water divers: XTIS, anti-freeze protection and metal parts in the G260
  • Divers with a tech configuration who need the hose from the left
  • Nitrox divers using mixes up to 40%
Maybe not for
  • Divers who want a metal second-stage case: the G260 case is reinforced technopolymer. Look at the MK25 EVO / A700, which has a full metal case
  • Divers using nitrox above 40%: SCUBAPRO rates it up to 40%, so ask us on LINE first

FAQ

INT or DIN 300: which one should I choose?

It is how the first stage connects to the tank valve, so match the valves you dive with. INT (yoke) clamps onto the valve and is secured by a screw knob. DIN screws into the valve and is more compact and streamlined. Not sure? Ask us on LINE.

Can I run the hose from the left?

Yes. The G260 takes the hose from the left or the right, which SCUBAPRO says suits tech diving configurations.

Can I use it in cold water?

SCUBAPRO calls the MK25 EVO a first stage for all water temperatures. It has XTIS insulation and anti-freeze protection, while the G260 has metal parts that resist freezing and a VIVA dive/pre-dive switch that helps prevent free flows in cold water.

Can I use it with nitrox?

Yes. SCUBAPRO rates it for nitrox mixes up to 40%.

Is it OK for beginners?

SCUBAPRO does not name a level, but says any recreational or technical diver can take this system on any dive, anywhere. Just starting and unsure which regulator suits you? Ask us on LINE first.
