Each first stage uses an air-balanced flow-through piston in a chrome-plated brass body. The DIN wheel is dual-compound, the intermediate pressure can be adjusted from outside, and there are two opposing HP ports and five LP ports on a swivel turret (four high-flow, one axial super high-flow).
The first stages carry SCUBAPRO's patented XTIS (Extended Thermal Insulating System) and anti-freeze protection. The G260 second stages use metal parts, the inlet tube, orifice, inhalation control knob and hose connector, which increase resistance to freezing.
The G260 has an air-balanced valve in a reinforced technopolymer case, with SCUBAPRO's largest second-stage casing and diaphragm, according to SCUBAPRO. It has a high-flow exhaust valve, and the reversible hose attachment lets the hose come from the left or the right for technical configurations.
