Titan

The third-generation Titan, which Aqualung says is especially suited for beginners

The Titan is now in its third generation. Aqualung describes it as reliable and robust, easy to maintain, compact and comfortable, and especially suited for beginners starting their dive adventures. The first stage has a forged body that uses less brass, which Aqualung says makes it more compact and lighter weight than other regulators. The balanced second stage is made of strong polycarbonate, with a Venturi switch, a polyurethane purge cover and a clip-on exhaust deflector. Aqualung lists a work of breathing of 1.0 J/L. Designed and made in France.

Highlights

A compact, lighter first stage (per Aqualung)

The forged first-stage body uses less brass, which Aqualung says makes it more compact and lighter weight than other regulators. Aqualung lists it at 690 g (24 oz) in INT (yoke) and 460 g (16 oz) in DIN. Two HP ports and four MP ports are set in a T shape.

Open yoke screw and dust cap

The open yoke screw helps prevent water retention, and the first stage has a dust cap. Maximum working pressure is 300 bar in DIN and 232 bar in yoke.

A tough polyurethane purge cover

Aqualung says the polyurethane purge cover is abrasion- and tear-resistant, makes purging water easy and helps protect against shock. The balanced second stage is made of strong polycarbonate.

Clip-on exhaust deflector, simpler upkeep

The exhaust deflector clips on, for simpler maintenance. Aqualung says it breaks up the bubbles to reduce noise and protect the valve.

Venturi switch and Comfo-Bite mouthpiece

The Venturi switch works even in gloves. The Comfo-Bite mouthpiece is interchangeable and held by a reusable clip. Aqualung lists a work of breathing of 1.0 J/L.
