Seaflare Pro Pack

1,800 lumens and three light levels, from 3 to 10 hours

The Seaflare Pro Pack is Aqualung's LED dive light pack. Its light puts out up to 1,800 lumens and has three levels: 3 hours on high, 4 hours on medium and 10 hours on low, according to Aqualung. The silicone, glow-in-the-dark colour beam deflectors are collapsible and help reduce light pollution. Even in the shallows, water filters out warm colours; Aqualung says a light brings the reds and yellows back, on day dives too. Aqualung's photos show the light in a black zip case with the Aqualung logo, with colour deflectors and accessories, but the page doesn't list what the pack contains. Aqualung lists the light in this pack at 1,800 lumens.

Pick the level for the dive: 3 hours on high, 4 hours on medium and 10 hours on low, according to Aqualung.

Silicone, glow-in-the-dark colour deflectors

The colour beam deflectors are silicone, glow in the dark and are collapsible. Aqualung says they help reduce light pollution.

Bring back the reds and yellows

Aqualung explains that even at shallow depths the water filters out warm colours, so the scene often looks only blue or green. Shine a light on it and the reds and yellows come back, by day as well as at night.

The zip case in Aqualung's photos

Aqualung's photos show a black zip case with a carry handle and the Aqualung logo, with foam slots for the light and accessories and a mesh pocket in the lid. The page doesn't list what the pack contains.

FAQ

How long does the battery last?

According to Aqualung: 3 hours on high, 4 hours on medium, 10 hours on low. The page gives no battery type or charging method.

What is in the pack?

Aqualung's page doesn't list it. Its photo shows the black zip case open with the light, a charger, a battery, a cable, a lanyard, deflectors in four colours and other accessories in the mesh pocket, without saying they are all included. Ask us on LINE before you order.

Is this the same light as the Seaflare?

Not in Aqualung's photos: the Pro Pack light has a dark grey body with AQUA LUNG and SEAFLARE lettering on the head, while the Seaflare's body is silver. Aqualung lists the 1,800 lumens and the three burn times on the Pro Pack page only; the Seaflare page gives no output figure.

Do I need a light on a day dive?

Aqualung explains that even in the shallows the water filters out warm colours, so the scene can look only blue or green. Shine a light and the reds and yellows come back, so a light helps by day as well as at night.

How deep is it rated?

Aqualung's page gives no depth rating. Ask us on LINE.
