The whole blade pivots: blade-fin power, split-fin comfort
Seawing Nova is SCUBAPRO's open-heel fin with the power, acceleration and manoeuvrability of a blade fin and the kicking comfort of a split fin. An articulated hinge lets the whole wing-shaped blade pivot. Speed through open water, or ease in and out of tight spots on the reef with full control and, as SCUBAPRO puts it, little to no ankle or leg strain. It is made of durable Monprene® and comes in six colours to match the rest of your gear.

SCUBAPRO's own G4 articulated joint lets the entire blade pivot and push water. The wing-shaped blade, SCUBAPRO says, strikes a near-perfect balance of stiffness and flex, so kicking stays easy on your ankles and legs.
Pivot Control Technology holds the blade at 45º, the angle SCUBAPRO calls the most efficient, however easy or hard you kick. Variable Blade Geometry wing tips arc upwards for more power and stability.
It works at high and low speed, on frog kicks and reverse kicks, and SCUBAPRO says it handles better when you make small changes of direction.
The marine-grade bungee heel strap adjusts itself, stays comfortable, lasts and makes the fins easy to put on and take off. Co-molded Grip Pads on the footplate give a non-skid grip on wet surfaces. The fin is Monprene®, which SCUBAPRO calls virtually indestructible.

SCUBAPRO lists 55.5 × 23 cm (21.85 × 9.06 in) overall, a 24.1 × 8.9 cm (9.5 × 3.5 in) foot pocket and 1.56 kg (3.45 lb), but does not say which size these numbers are for. Other sizes may differ.
SCUBAPRO lists its buoyancy as positive, so it floats.
