UV420 AR amber or Super Clear lens
The amber UV420 CUT AR lens blocks UV and HEV light to help protect the lutein in your eyes and raises contrast underwater; its AR coating lets about 95% of light through, against about 92% for a conventional lens. The Clear model uses Super Clear glass, refined to let the most light through, with fewer skirt reflections on the lens.
Curled-lip skirt with soft damper
The skirt and strap clip are one piece for firm but gentle contact: pull the strap and it seals without leaving much of a mark, while soft dampers ease pressure on the cheekbones.
Low volume: 140cc
The lens sits close to your eyes, and the low volume widens the single-lens view further: 100° vertical and 113° horizontal in GULL's catalogue. A 10° lens tilt keeps your view down to chest level, where most diving tasks happen. Weight: 246 g.

FAQ
Amber or Super Clear lens: what is the difference?
Every coloured frame, on black or white silicone, comes with the amber UV420 CUT AR lens for UV/HEV protection and extra contrast. The Clear model (clear silicone) has the Super Clear lens for maximum clarity and fewer skirt reflections on the lens.
VADER or VADER fanette: which one fits me?
GULL notes that divers with smaller faces may find VADER slightly large, so it made VADER fanette smaller overall. VADER: 140cc, 246 g, 100° vertical and 113° horizontal view. VADER fanette: 125cc, 223 g, 94° and 108°, with a skirt that reaches past the cheekbones. Not sure which fits? Ask us on LINE before you order.
How does VADER compare with LUVOS?
Both are GULL single-lens masks. VADER: 140cc, 246 g, a 100° × 113° view, amber UV420 AR or Super Clear lens. LUVOS: 170cc, 266 g, a 105° × 118° view and a clear UV380 AR IR lens; GULL calls it the widest-view single-lens mask it has made.
Why does the lens look blue in the photos?
GULL notes the lens is actually amber (light yellow); its reflective coating makes it look blue in photos.
Is it OK for beginners?
