According to GULL, the 105° vertical view is the largest of any GULL mask, and with 118° horizontally LUVOS is the widest-view single-lens mask GULL has made, rivalling frameless masks. A 10° lens tilt keeps your view down to chest level, where most diving tasks happen.
Anti-reflection coating on both sides lets about 98% of light through (about 92% for a conventional lens), clearer than UV420 lenses according to GULL. An IR-cut coating blocks roughly 50% of infrared rays to help limit skin ageing around the eyes in strong sun on the beach or the water surface.
Reinforced dampers stop flooding at the lips when your face moves, a 3D Leak Guard holds the seal along the laugh lines even when you clench a snorkel or regulator, and the nose pocket is easier to pinch for equalising, even in thick gloves.
The frame channels water through it to cut drag, so you feel less resistance as you swim.
UV380 AR IR is a clear lens with AR coating on both sides, clearer than UV420 according to GULL, plus IR cut. The UV420 AR lens on VADER and MANTIS LVR is amber, blocks UV and HEV light up to 420nm and is about boosting contrast.
They share the 105° × 118° view, the 170cc volume and the clear UV380 AR IR lens. LUVOS G-Metal has an anodised aluminium frame, weighs 308 g (LUVOS: 266 g), comes in black silicone only with a ballistic-nylon case, and GULL made just 1,000 worldwide.

GULL recommends a neutral detergent and the pad of your finger; sponges or abrasives can damage the coating. After use, rinse with fresh water and gently wipe off droplets with a soft cloth, as drops left on the lens can leave water stains.
Yes. GULL says the DX Spec buckle adjusts one-handed even in thick gloves, and the nose pocket leaves enough room for an easy pinch.
