DynaFlex 7mm Men's with Hood

7 mm with an attached hood and a front zip you can manage alone

DynaFlex 7mm Men's with Hood is Aqualung's 7 mm full wetsuit for men in the version with an attached hood and a front zip. The hood has a face seal and a purge system on top. The long YKK no. 10 front zip has a smoothskin flap inside, and Aqualung says you can put the suit on and take it off by yourself. Ultraspan outer fabric covers four-way stretch neoprene; the seams are double-glued, stitched and sealed on the inside. The arms and legs have double seals, and a removable 3D pocket sits on the right thigh.

Highlights

Attached hood with a face seal

The hood is part of the suit, with a face seal and a purge system on top. There is a reflective print on top of the hood too.

YKK front zip you can use alone

A long YKK no. 10 front zip with a smoothskin flap inside. Aqualung says you can put the suit on and take it off by yourself.

Ultraspan, four-way stretch

Ultraspan outer fabric over tight-weave neoprene that stretches four ways. Super Stretch neoprene has three times the stretch of standard neoprene, according to Aqualung.

Double-glued seams, sealed inside

Seams are double-glued and stitched, and every inside seam is sealed. Aqualung says the Ultraspan fabric and the stitched, sealed seams minimise water flow. The glue is water-based (Aqua A) instead of volatile bonding agents.

Double seals, easy movement

The arms and legs have double seals. Ergonomic panels sit under the arms, the arms and legs are pre-shaped, and kneepads resist abrasion and stay flexible.

Details for the dive

A rubber loop on each arm holds a computer. A removable 3D pocket sits on the right thigh, with a net base to drain; neoprene flaps cover its mounts when it is off. Prints on the shoulders guard against BCD rubbing, and the calves carry reflective prints.

FAQ

How do I pick a size?

There are six sizes: S, M, ML, L, XL and XXL. We don't have Aqualung's size chart for this model yet, so send us your height, body weight and chest size on LINE and we'll help you pick. You can exchange sizes within 7 days if unused and never in the water (you cover shipping both ways unless we sent the wrong item or it is faulty).

How is it different from the DynaFlex 7mm Men's?

Both are 7 mm, with four-way stretch Ultraspan and double-glued seams sealed inside. The hooded suit has a YKK no. 10 front zip you can use alone and an attached hood with a face seal and a purge system. The DynaFlex 7mm Men's has a G-Lock back zip with a double flap, a zip at the front of the neck and no hood. Both come in S to XXL, and you'll find both in our shop.

What water temperature is it for?

Aqualung gives the suit as 7 mm and says it has the features to keep you warm, but lists no water temperature range. Tell us on LINE where and when you plan to dive and we'll help you check.

Is there a women's version?

Yes. Aqualung makes a separate women's model, the DynaFlex 7mm Women's with Hood, in sizes XS to XL, and you'll find it in our shop too. Aqualung's photos of it show a front zip but its page text describes a back zip, so please confirm on LINE before you order.

How is DynaFlex different from AquaFlex?

Both use Super Stretch neoprene, which Aqualung says has three times the stretch of standard neoprene, and water-based glue (Aqua A). The AquaFlex 5mm and 7mm have Canadian seals, a semi-dry zipper system and petroleum-free neoprene. DynaFlex has Ultraspan fabric, double-glued seams sealed inside, double seals at the arms and legs, a 3D thigh pocket and computer loops. The AquaFlex 7mm Men's comes in S to 3XL, and you'll find both lines in our shop.
