Hydroflex 3mm Men's

A 3 mm full suit that stretches with you, goes on fast and lets you move freely

Hydroflex 3mm Men's is Aqualung's 3 mm neoprene full wetsuit for men. Aqualung says it gives you comfort, protection from the elements and freedom of movement. The suit is moulded to your body for a streamlined fit, and its Super Stretch neoprene, which Aqualung says has three times the stretch of standard neoprene, makes dressing quick and easy. O-ring seals at the wrists and ankles limit the water that gets in, Powertex knee panels resist abrasion, and printed shoulders protect against wear from your BCD. Aqualung calls it strong and durable, keeping its shape even after repeated use.

Highlights

Stretch that lets you move

Super Stretch neoprene has three times the stretch of standard neoprene, according to Aqualung, for more comfort and freedom of movement. It also makes the suit quick and easy to put on.

Less water in at wrists and ankles

O-ring seals at the wrists and ankles limit how much water gets into the suit.

Comfortable on bare skin

Flatlock stitching is comfortable against bare skin, and a V-shaped collar adds comfort at the neck.

Tough where it rubs

Powertex knee panels resist abrasion and stay flexible. A laminated chest panel resists wind and abrasion, and a printed design on the shoulders protects against wear from your BCD.

Your dive computer stays put

A printed design on the wrist helps keep your dive computer in place, and a loop on the zip makes it easy to open and close.

Neoprene that isn't petroleum-based

Aqualung lists the suit's 3 mm neoprene among its environmentally friendly features: it is non-petroleum-based and made with a PAH-free formula.

Who it is for

Great for
  • Divers who wear a BCD and a dive computer: printed shoulders resist BCD wear, and the wrist print helps keep the computer in place
  • Anyone who wants a suit that goes on fast: Aqualung says Super Stretch neoprene makes dressing quick and easy
  • Divers who want knees that resist abrasion and still flex: Powertex knee panels
Maybe not for
  • Women: this is the men's model. Look at the Hydroflex 3mm Women's
  • Snorkelling or short surface sessions: Aqualung makes the short-sleeved, short-legged Hydroflex Shorty 3mm Men's for that
  • Anyone who needs a size chart before ordering: Aqualung's page doesn't show one, so ask us on LINE

FAQ

How do I pick a size?

There are eight sizes: XS, S, M, ML, L, XL, XXL and 3XL. We don't have Aqualung's size chart for this model yet, so send us your height, body weight and chest size on LINE and we'll help you pick. You can exchange sizes within 7 days if unused and never in the water (you cover shipping both ways unless we sent the wrong item or it is faulty).

What is the difference between Hydroflex 3mm and Hydroflex Shorty 3mm?

Both use 3 mm Super Stretch neoprene with flatlock seams, a V-shaped collar, a laminated chest panel and printed shoulders against BCD wear. Hydroflex 3mm is the full suit, with O-ring seals at the wrists and ankles, Powertex knee panels and a wrist print that helps keep a dive computer in place. Hydroflex Shorty 3mm has short sleeves and legs and none of those three, and Aqualung presents it for short trips in the water, snorkelling and other surface activities.

What water temperature is it for?

Aqualung gives the neoprene as 3 mm thick but lists no water temperature range. Tell us on LINE where and when you plan to dive and we'll help you check.

Is there a women's version?

Yes. Aqualung makes a separate women's model, the Hydroflex 3mm Women's, in sizes XS to XXL, and you'll find it in our shop too.

Is it eco-friendly?

Aqualung states the suit's 3 mm neoprene is non-petroleum-based and uses a PAH-free formula, and lists these as its environmentally friendly features. The page says nothing more on this.
