AquaFlex 3mm Women's

One piece of 3 mm four-way stretch neoprene, made for warm water and travel

AquaFlex 3mm Women's is Aqualung's one-piece 3 mm full wetsuit for women. Like every AquaFlex suit, it is made of four-way stretch neoprene, and that neoprene is petroleum free. Aqualung says its Super Stretch neoprene has three times the stretch of standard neoprene. The suit closes with a back zip and a long pull strap, in what Aqualung calls a semi-dry zipper system. Powertex kneepads cover the knees, and the suit uses water-based glue (Aqua A) instead of volatile bonding agents. Aqualung marks it for warm water and travel.

Who it is for

Great for
  • Warm-water dives and dive trips: Aqualung marks this suit for warm water and travel
  • Divers who want a one-piece full suit with a back zip: a back zip with a long pull strap
  • Divers who want knees that resist abrasion and still flex: Powertex kneepads
Maybe not for
  • Men: this is the women's model. Look at the AquaFlex 3mm Men's
  • Divers who want a suit that is faster and easier to put on, for several dive days in a row: Aqualung makes the two-piece FitFlex 3mm Women's, a separate jacket and pant, for that
  • Anyone who needs a size chart before ordering: Aqualung's page doesn't show one, so ask us on LINE

FAQ

How do I pick a size?

There are seven sizes: XS, S, M, ML, L, XL and XXL. We don't have Aqualung's size chart for this model yet, so send us your height, body weight and chest size on LINE and we'll help you pick. You can exchange sizes within 7 days if unused and never in the water (you cover shipping both ways unless we sent the wrong item or it is faulty).

What is the difference between AquaFlex 3mm and FitFlex 3mm?

Both are 3 mm, with Super Stretch neoprene, Powertex kneepads and water-based glue (Aqua A), and Aqualung marks both for warm water and travel. AquaFlex 3mm is one piece and closes with a back zip and a long pull strap. FitFlex 3mm comes in two pieces, a jacket with a front zip and a separate pant, joined by a connection system that keeps the suit in place and reduces flushing, plus a thigh pocket. Aqualung says FitFlex is faster and easier to put on than a one-piece. FitFlex 3mm Women's comes in XS to XL, and you'll find it in our shop too.

What water temperature is it for?

Aqualung marks it for warm water and gives the neoprene as 3 mm thick, but lists no water temperature range. Tell us on LINE where and when you plan to dive and we'll help you check.

Is there a men's version?

Yes. Aqualung makes a separate men's model, the AquaFlex 3mm Men's, in sizes S to 3XL, and you'll find it in our shop too.

Is the neoprene petroleum-based?

No. Aqualung states the neoprene is petroleum free, and the suit uses water-based glue (Aqua A) instead of volatile bonding agents. The page says nothing more on this.
