Explorer II Duffel

Backpack or duffel in one bag, with a mesh drying pocket and fin straps

Explorer II Duffel is a travel gear bag in Aqualung's Explorer line. Its adjustable shoulder straps double as duffel handles and stow away. Outside there is a mesh drying pocket, and fin straps on the back that Aqualung says hold any size fin. It is made of heavy-duty 1680D polyester and mesh, with internal padding, a V-diamond base and six corner guards. The corrosion-resistant zippers have easy-grip pulls and take locks. Aqualung gives it carry-on dimensions, but every airline sets its own limits, so check yours before you fly.

Who it is for

  • Travellers who want a backpack that can also be carried by hand: the shoulder straps double as duffel handles
  • Divers carrying wet items after the dive: a mesh drying pocket
  • Divers who bring their own fins: fin straps on the back that Aqualung says hold any size fin
Maybe not for
  • Anyone who needs the capacity in litres before buying: Aqualung's page gives only 61 × 33 × 23 cm, no litres, so ask us on LINE
  • Anyone who wants wheels: Aqualung's page doesn't mention any, while the Explorer 90L and Explorer 120L have a telescopic handle and wheels

FAQ

Will every airline accept it as carry-on?

Aqualung gives it carry-on dimensions: 61 × 33 × 23 cm, and the bag weighs 1.5 kg. Airlines set their own size and weight limits, so we can't promise every airline will accept it. Check yours before you fly.

How many litres does it hold?

Aqualung's page gives no capacity in litres, only the size: 61 × 33 × 23 cm. Not sure your gear will fit? Ask us on LINE.

Do the fins and regulator in the photos come with it?

Aqualung's page doesn't list fins or a regulator with the bag; they appear in its photos, the fins under the straps and the regulator in the mesh pocket. Ask us on LINE before you order.

Is there a matching regulator bag?

Aqualung's Explorer II Regulator Bag page says it pairs with the Explorer II bags. Its foam and PE board walls protect delicate gear, and its round shape minimises hose kinks. Ask us on LINE.
